ALSO. We took a trip to Ikea last weekend and got some goodies. My fave? The coffee table we got for 9 bucks because the box was open. YES.

for fun!
Life is good- We went hot tubbing last night and broke our healthy eating streak and instead had guacochips and steamed milk for dinner. OH YUM. Also this weekend we had a house guest. Our first house guest in this apartment- so spesh! AKA Wes slept over.

New Years Eve
We had fun NYE. We were lame and stayed home with old married people. I am probably going to get in trouble for saying that. It's whatev. We were a little sad though that we didn't do something wild. I don't even know where we would go to do something wild. Maybe next year? Anyways T and I and my Dad have been wanting to try to make tamales. SO, we threw out our egg roll tradition which was a little sad. But it was fun to shake things up for a year.

Our Year

Last night while we were laying in bed T & I were discussing how much has happened this year. One year ago we had been dating for 5 days. Now, we have lived in two different apartments, T has graduated from college and I have gone from going to BYU to USU to UVU. I am a psycho woman I know. Tanner has a grown up job, we have been to Jamaica, St. George, and Shelley, Idaho (my fave... haha) together. We have bought a new TV, dining table, and been given everything else. Really we have mostly had everything handed to us let's be honesst. But, we really are so grateful for it, and are very glad not to be sleeping on a blow up mattress.
What else? Well we've gained a lot of weight- not actually that proud of that one. But we have also learned so much. Personally I have learned how to be less selfish- Tanner didn't need to learn that. We have enjoyed spending our date nights in the Logan Temple & we are excited to do the same in Provo. We have learned patience & how to buy margarine instead of butter--- ew. I know right? We have planned a wedding in two and a half months, passed business statistics together, & driven through sardine canyon together too many times to count. Christmas
We had fun at Christmasing this year. It was our first married so we thought it would be a bit adjustment spending the holiday with our respective families. Luckily it felt very natural. Honestly it felt like we've always done it this way. We saw New Year's Eve, ATE SO MUCH GOOD FOOD, played lots of games, got way too many presents, spent way too much money, went to temple square, and just ENJOYED our time with our families.

Ballet West
AAAH. Heaven on earth. Tanner took me to see the Nutcracker at Capital Theater last night as an early Christmas present. We had so much fun! It brought back lots of memories of being in the Nutcracker when I was younger. Or as we liked to call it when we were in it, Buttcracker. Real Mature. Pictures!!
