fashionisto

T loves to dress pretty. It's his fave!! So since fashion blogs are so popular right now, we decided to start one for him -- maybe he will even end up with his own fashion line on etsy. That is our ultimate goal. So let's just dive right in ok?!  (feel free to pin all of these)

Blazer (H&M), Shirt (His Mom bought it)
Shoes (Thifted) Ok this one is actually cool- because those are Ecco's we got for $5
Shirt (AE)
This is his single speed roadie look. (Don't want that pant leg getting stuck in the chain.)  Really makes a statement.

His posing skills are improving.

A photo this good deserves to be in the post 2 times. BAM.

Hi, Jake.

Let's talk. The #1 thing to report here is that T and I got smart phones! (I got an iPhone, he got a really smart phone) With real apps!! And fancy screens and and... they are just so shiny. UGH. Unfortunately I can't take a picture of my iPhone with my iPhone. Here is the next best thing an iPhone photo shoot on Photo Booth.

Oh, how time flies! I can't believe we are already into February. While they say time flies when you're having fun (ugh worst cliche ever amirite?) it also flies when you super stressed and busy. BUT wow. So much to report on.

No pics from this next one, but we went to the Opera with Tanner's parents which was SO fabulous. I had never been to an Opera before but it was totally cool. And, to be completely blunt, who doesn't love going to artsy events? So many weird people and their partners. What could make for better people watching? We loved being able to spend some time with them. (Even though we didn't get home til LATE. So worth it.)

This month was meatless January, which we loved so much we are going to carry through February. We really just wanted to start eating healthier, and more importantly feeling healthier. And, boy did it work! I hate touching raw meat anyways, so this setup is perfect for me! We are cheaters though. We actually both like meat. So when we eat out with our families, or go to dinner at the Parent's houses we eat whatever we want. It has been tough at times, because it is harder to come up with ideas for dinner. But, I feel like we finally have a good repertoire  of meals. I feel like my cooking has gotten so much more creative and fun.

We loved this one! Pine Nut Couscous, Lightly Curried
Veggies, Fried Egg and Hazelnut.
Sweet potato vegetarian chili. Also a win.
This one was fun. It is [killer] seasoned sauteed vegetables, mixed with pasta cooked in vegi broth.
I adapted the recipe from here.

We also went to Park City with Marcus and Makayla. I call them M&M... they don't know that.

AND LAST OF ALL...

Wes had a Birthday! He is 11.

ALSO ALSO JAKE also had a birthday. He is also 11. Or, he stole Wes' presents. You choose.

Have a nice life.
