five months.

it's true. time flies.
When in the world did i get a 5 month old? Soon she'll be a teenager! noooo!

THIS month has been oh so fun. She's rolling all over the place. She's giggling (all though it's kind of hard to get one out of her! We basically have to act like idiots to get her to laugh), she sleeps like a... oh wait she doesn't sleep! Haha. Really though she's an ok sleeper. Not the greatest - like she wakes up screaming because she wants her binkie. Little goof. It's ok though because Tanner is awesome and he usually gives it to her. Sometimes when she cries at night I feed her to get her back to sleep quick. She's the cutest though. She really is a GREAT baby. Takes 3-4 naps during the day, and is all smiles in between. She smiles at everyone everywhere we go, which is a hoot. People think they are special when she smiles at them. They aren't though. She's just a little social baby.

Suddenly she has gotten huge. Like basically skipped 3-6 month clothes. Whaaa??? So now I need to buy her more clothes. Yay! Lately we have been practicing sitting up with her. She is pretty good at it- until she falls and hits her head and cries haha. We usually catch her though. Usually.

This month we tried rice cereal in an attempt to get her to sleep better at night. She liked it when we gave it to her, but we quickly realized that it's really not that much fun feeding her and taker for. ev. er. so we stopped because it wasn't really helping. Babies just really aren't that good at keeping food in their mouths turns out. In all honesty though I'm excited for when we start feeding her more when she is six months old.

She is really the best. We just adore her. Being parents is hard - yeah, but honestly it's the best. Last night we were talking about how she makes everything more fun. It's definitely more effort to get out the door, and we have a plan better. but there is so much more meaning to everything. It's scary knowing what a big job it is, but there is so much beauty and purpose to raising this cute girl. Not much has changed though. I am not a schedule person AT ALL. So we put her to sleep when she's tired and she eats when she is hungry and it works for us, and still allows us to have fun and go places. Which is great.
