We are MARRIED!

It was been pretty hectic lately. IN SUCH GOOD WAYS though. We got back from Jamaica Thursday evening, opened presents late that night (too fun), packed and returned some repeat presents Friday and went to Anike's FABULOUS luau concert Friday night.

Saturday we moved into our "new" apartment in Logan.

First of all. We have no air conditioning, so we're losing a lot of water weight. Which is good, right?

We were not able to get a fan until Monday (best purchase ever btw) SO to remedy our heat dilemma Tanner had the genius idea of sleeping with ice in our bed. Which SAVED US I swear! Felt kind of silly but it did the job.

School is good. These pictures are in no particular order. It's like a game ok? Guess the order.

Carina and I enjoying the FAB bridal shower Ainsley threw for me. Fun.
Tents going up the day before the wedding!
This is my I love moving day face. And outfit. HAWT.
With Sisters in law (that sounds so weird...) At said bridal shower.
Tanner birthday! I am still learning not to cover up the flash when I take pics on the fancy new camera: which explains the faux vignette look of this photo.
Ice. For our bed.

Our healthy diet. Pizza, candy, gatorade. (pre grocery trip)
Tanner is a chef. I need to post this recipe. Pickle looking things are not pickles. So stop thinking this looks gross. TO DIE FOR. (Especially after a 2 and a half hour accounting class)
Our new favorite past time is laying in front of the fan and watching DOUG. Also- our favorite part of doug is doug's super hero alter ego QUAIL MAN.
Tthe table. All set and stuff. Tanner reuphulstered those chairs. TOTALLY cost $4.00 plus the cost of fabric. I am not going to tell you that because it is a much less impressive deal.
Ok, so we have TONS of pictures.

Also while I am on this pic kick... here is a honeymooning pics. We had a blast in Jamaica.

Our wedding planner and a good family friend Leslie, did an amazing job on the wedding. Such a perfect day. Her Sis posted a few pics of some pre reception decor goodness. Check it out here.

Moving Day

So today we are moving to our new place in Logan. We are pretty excited about it. Like Jessie said, we have been given lots of wonderful things from our parents and are super lucky. We are so blessed because of the parents that we do have. They both make so many sacrifices for us and have worked so hard on this wedding that we just don't know how we could ever thank them. Obviously a blog post isn't enough but we want them (both sets) to know how much we (both Jessie and I) are grateful for them. They do so much for us, and we love you both. Thank you!

1 week.

Seriously, is there anything worse than wedding count downs on facebook? Well, actually while I am on the subject I am thinking there are probably more annoying things. Like Harry Potter statuses. Or BYU football statusi. But marriage countdowns on facebook are definitely in my top three weird and annoying. That is, until today when I realized we have a week and a day until marriage. And then, ALL OF THE SUDDEN I wanted the whole world to know. In one week (and like a day... kind of) Tanner and I will be married. The engagement flew by, and thank goodness because we couldn't be more excited to be married.
I am so excited for August 19th to come. I am so excited to be with my best friend for good- forever.

We move our furniture into our new apartment tomorrow. It is totally the craziest thing. Our parents have been so generous with us, and we are more than set on furniture. The bed Tanner's parents gave us came today. I am so grateful to them for this. I hate air mattresses, and pretty sure at one point, that is what it was looking like. I hope that every night we lay down to sleep I realize how blessed we are to have been given that bed.

On the note of wonderful and generous parents, the wedding is going to be beautiful.  The planning process has been fun but oh my goodness I am so past caring! My mamasita has done so much for this wedding. And made my life so much easier while I worked like crazy this summer. SHE EVEN DOES MY LAUNDRY SOMETIMES. Every little service she has provided me this summer has lifted a burden off my shoulders and helped me enjoy this exciting time. She is an angel. She has sewn pennant flags (hundreds), cut out 300 cupcake holders, and I just realized that if I were to make a list- I couldn't possibly count the things she has done for this wedding. BUT HEY! I remembered a big one. She planted flowers in our backyard for the reception, got heat exhaustion, and was throwing up all night. HOLY COW RIGHT? She is fabulous and I so appreciate the patience, support, and generosity she has shown me throughout this process. Fabulous I tell you.

It has been an exciting time. I can speak for both of us, and say that we feel so blessed to be where we are today. So glad to have gotten so lucky. Oh and the weirdest thing- we were totally caught candidly dancing in the garden of eden the other day. Crazy.

The Surprise Party

So Tanner and I and obsessed with ourselves and love to celebrate our birthday's for an entire week. What is even BETTER about this is that there is like 2 weeks between our birthday weeks. Fun. For my birthday week Tanner got me a different cute gift every night and then new scriptures on my birthday. For his birthday I made him "fizooke" on Sunday night, only I forgot the brown sugar and they were disgusting. Monday night I threw a surprise party for Tanner. I made sushi and home made lemonade, Jake made tempura shrimp and veggies, and Mamasita made Tanner's fave, homemade lion house cheesecake. It was so fab!

Pictures now.

The Friends.

 Marcus and his fedora.

The SPLENDID cheesecake. Thanks Mom!

Not sure if that was enough pictures. More pictures of the week coming soon. Thanks to Tanner's birthday gifty the SLR.
